Words is a standalone Dirtybird single from Sacha Robotti and Perry Farrell, released February 20 ahead of Robotti’s forthcoming debut I, Robotti. Farrell wrote the track and delivers its central refrain: “Sometimes… words get in the way.”
The refrain gives the collaboration its tension. Farrell’s alternative-rock voice sits inside Robotti’s dance setting, making Words a concise preview of the album to come.
